SIM James Russell Peacefully at Kingsmills Care Home, Inverness, on Wednesday 15th March 2017, James Russell, aged 97 years, (Ex-Major, REME/former Assistant Rector, Inverness Royal Academy), husband of the late darling Margaret, father of dear Allan, Rhona, Linda and Alistair, grandfather of dear Jonathan, Iain, Matthew and Nicholas, great-grandfather of Eilidh, Fraser, Claudia, Austin, Josie and Cameron, also father-in-law of Shona, Evelyn and Anna. Body donated to Glasgow University for medical research. Service of Thanksgiving on Saturday, 1st April, at 12 noon in Inshes Parish Church, Inverness, to which all friends are welcome. Donations, if desired, to Tearfund may be given at the service or forwarded to D. Chisholm & Sons, Huntly Street, Inverness IV3 5HP. Tel (01463)712255.
