DEY Reverend James Gentles Glasgow/Edinburgh Peacefully, at home in West Savile Gardens, Edinburgh, on Monday, 15th May, 2017, James, aged 94, with family by his side. James was the beloved husband of Joan and much loved father of Graham, Alistair, Vivien, Jonathan, Martin and Imogen, a brother, uncle and father-in-law, and not least, devoted grandfather of Alison, David, Tommy, Calum, Adam, Duncan, Gavin, Cara, Lucy, James and Elizabeth. His was a life well lived and he will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium (Main Chapel), Edinburgh, on Monday, 29th May at 2pm, to which all are warmly invited. Family flowers only please.
