STEEL JAMES. It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Jim (formerly of Bransfield Farm), aged 71, on 16th September, 2017, at Crosshouse Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Wilma, devoted and caring father who was much loved by Linda and Allan, partner Paul and daughter-in-law Louise. Proud grampa of Matt and Drew. Grateful thanks go to all doctors and nursing staff at Wards 3A and 3C for the wonderfully compassionate care which Jim received. Funeral service at Darvel Parish Church on Tuesday, 26th September at 11am, thereafter interment at Darvel New Cemetery at 11.45am. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, to Myeloma UK may be given at the service.
