ROSE IAN HUGH. Peacefully, at Crosshouse University Hospital, Kilmarnock on Monday, 16th April, 2018, after a short illness, Ian, much loved husband of Sandra Rose, loving father of Vivian and Sharon and stepfather of Andrew and Catriona and dear grandfather and papa. Funeral service at Greenock Crematorium on Friday, 27th April at 2pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited.

Dearest Dad. I will miss you dearly, especially our phone chats across the world. I am glad I was able to be with you during your final days when we reminisced about our childhood, and you were able to laugh and smile and to say “happy memories” which you, Vivian and I share. It is fitting that this notice is published in The Herald as you worked as a journalist at the then Glasgow Herald for many years. Rest easy Dad. Much love always, your daughter Sharon, son-in-law Anthony and grandchildren Maddy and Max.
