McLAUGHLIN Edward It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Edward McLaughlin announce his passing on 19th April, 2018 (ten years to the day after he got his second hole in one at Mission Viejo Country Club) in Mission Viejo, California with his loving wife of 56 years, Mary, and his close family by his side. Adored by all who met him, Eddie was the beloved father of Alison, Kevin, Andrea, Paul and Amanda and grandfather of Sebastian, JC, Ellie, Lucy, Kyle and Charles. Born in Glasgow in 1939, Eddie, a celebrated master cooper, founded Kelvin Cooperage in 1963. Eddie and family left Uddingston for California in 1982 where Eddie enjoyed many sunny days golfing with family and friends while expanding his cooperage to Louisville, Kentucky. His family will dearly miss him but are eternally grateful for their time with this remarkable husband, father and grandfather. McLaughlin family
