RODGER WILLIE. The family of Willie Rodger would like to thank the medical and care home staff who looked after Willie during his final illness; Rev. Mark Johnstone and his Officers at St Mary's Parish Church, Kirkintilloch, for all their support and comforting; Alastair Lawson of J. & D. Lawson Ltd, Funeral Directors, Kirkintilloch and his staff for their gentle empathy, and exemplary professionalism; the countless strangers who posted so touchingly on social media; and all those family and friends who attended at the church and graveside in such numbers to say goodbye to a unique and much loved man.
