There will be plenty of banter this Christmas as Scots comedian Limmy is to star in a festive 'film' to be aired on Sky.

He will join a whole host of comedians who are starring in festive shorts and there will be a total of 12 films.

Limmy's Christmas has a host of characters, shorts and sketches according to Digital Spy.

Other 'films' to air include Gein's Family Giftshop's Christmas which  follows a family with one guy who still believes in Santa and the horrible aftermath when he discovers the truth.

Pappy's Christmas features a trio who end up stranded after a gig on Christmas Eve. The group then turn their discussions to how good life would be if only they could create the next John Lewis commercial. This film also features a cameo from Dara O Briain.

And in comedian Lolly Adefope's Christmas, she stars as a shopping centre elf who has to try and save Christmas.

Fans of Limmy can watch the 'films' which will air on Sky On Demand from December 11 to 18, and then on Sky Arts over the Christmas period.
