Gutter Magazine, the Scottish literary journal, is to continue and publish its next edition in November.
The organisers of the journal, which often prints young and emerging writers and poets, said the 18th Issue will also follow in the Spring.
Some feared the magazine would be affected by the turmoil around Freight Books.
However the Magazine has emerged from "a tough couple of months" and is continuing as an "independent co-operative company."
Freight Design will continue to design and provide artwork for the publication.
Submissions for Issue 18 are open now.
A statement said: "We are delighted that Gutter can carry on playing an important role in Scottish writing, and bringing you the best new prose and poetry."

A significant loan from the Burrell Collection in Glasgow will see the opening of the most comprehensive retrospective of the 19th century artist Matthijs Maris at the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
Twelve oil paintings, fourteen works on paper and one stained glass panel by the Dutch artist are loan from the Burrell Collection, forming the first large survey of the artist’s work.
It is the first time the works will go on display outside of the UK.
Each of the works on loan from 6 October 2017 to 7 January 2018 are from the former private collection of the Glaswegian shipping merchant Sir William Burrell (1861-1958), who in a period of approximately 40 years, brought together the most important Matthijs Maris collection outside The Netherlands.
Burrell showed a lifelong interest in Mattijs Maris, whose work he once described as "poems in paint".
De Vlinders (The Butterflies), a colourful painting of a girl, lying on her back and surrounded by a multitude of fluttering butterflies, is one of the twenty-five works loan from the Burrell.

The GSWA (Glasgow Society of Women Artists) is holding its exhibition from until November 2 in the Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie.
The association meet once a month in Glasgow and have recently had renowned speakers like the artist Pam Carter and Richard DeMarco.
Members exhibit twice a year and cover many types of media from oil painting to jewellery.

Elephant Sessions, winners of the MG Alba Scots Trad Awards 'Up and Coming Act of the Year 2014, and nominated as Live Act of the Year in 2016, are to go on tour.
Elephant Sessions are on tour throughout the UK in November, from Inverness to Bath, from Bury to Skye, and including an appearance at London’s Folk and Roots Festival.
The first Inverness gig has already sold out, and a second has just been added.
They play Edinburgh's Voodoo Rooms on November 14, Sbhal Mor Ostig on Skye on November 16, Inverness's Tooth and Claw on November 15, Universal Hall, Findhorn on November 18 and Clarks, Dundee on November 19.
