THE LIFE of one of Scotland’s most notable contemporary political figures will be celebrated in a musical performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow this week.

A concert by vocal ensemble RCS Voices will be dedicated to the late MP, Tam Dalyell.

The West Lothian MP, who died in January 2017 at the age of 84, was one of the most well-known politicians of his era.

The Fridays at One concert is expected to be attended by friends and family of the late MP and will feature Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor and a selection from Songs of Farewell by Hubert Parry.

The concert runs from 1-2pm in the Stevenson Hall within the Royal Conservatoire in Renfrew Street.
