A Slightly Isolated Dog's theatre production of Don Juan is on at the Assembly George Square Theatre - The Bubble from August 2 - 27 (except 13th).

  • Tell us about your Fringe show

We tell the story of Don Juan, the world’s greatest lover and also a bit of an a**hole. The show is a place to have a ridiculously fun time with us. To be bold and risk being a fool - a fool for love. Where chaos is welcome and we come to celebrate and sing wildly into the dark .

  • How does it feel to be playing the Fringe for the first time?

It’s an absolute dream that work can take us to the other side of the world to perform. (This has been performer Andrew Paterson’s life goal ever since he found out about Edinburgh Fringe and he can’t believe that he gets to take over his favourite show he’s ever worked on.

  • Why did you decide to perform at the Fringe?

Because its THE FRINGE! its the sexiest place to be for theatre so its needs the sexiest show to be in it. The possibility of opening up opportunities for us outside of New Zealand, meeting new audiences, and for the sake of adventure.

  • If you were not a performer what would you be doing?

The cool English teacher.

Or a photographer for National Geographic.

Or an art historian.

  • How do you prepare for a performance?

Dance. We all dance around together before the show.

  • Best/worst advice you’ve been given ahead of your debut show?

Best advice: This is your house, the audience are your guests.

  • Favourite thing about being in Edinburgh?

The weird contrast of living in a throng of theatre and comedy aficionados from all over the world, and the backdrop of Gothic architecture. So much art, so much stone.

  • What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?

It would be rude to name them publicly... ;)

  • Favouite Scottish food/drink?

Laphroaig, obviously.

  • Sum up your show in three words

Sexy. Riotous. Alive
