For his first solo show in Glasgow, Holm is presenting works from his expanding series ‘About Common Ground’.

‘About Common Ground’ is an experiment in continuous photographic studies of states and movements in contemporary society. Particularly attentive to urban space as a centre for capital and political struggle, Holm tries to encompass what seems ungraspable about a world connected by advanced capitalism, while divided by national borders.

The first showing of this body of work was at The Royal Danish Embassy in London (March 2016) and, subsequently, as part of group shows at 16 Nicholson Street Glasgow and Fotografisk Center in Copenhagen later that year.

Winner of the Jill Todd Photographic Award (2016) and RSA Adam Bruce Thomson Award (2017), Holm has exhibited extensively across the UK and Denmark. This has included exhibitions at The Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, Banja Rathnov Gallery in Copenhagen, and Nerve Centre in Derry-Londonderry. Most recently Holm has exhibited at Supernormal Art Space, Singapore and Soiz Galerie in Germany.
