JOHN Campbell, a former chairman of industry body Scottish Financial Enterprise, is joining Aberdeen Asset Management.
Mr Campbell will join Aberdeen early next month as global head of strategic clients. The investment house said that this role would be focused on “how Aberdeen works even more closely with its largest clients to help them achieve their financial goals”.
Aberdeen noted Mr Campbell had spent the last 16 years at State Street, most recently as business head of global services UK, Middle East and Africa. Mr Campbell was awarded an OBE in 2008 for services to the financial services industry.
