SCOTTISH software company Administrate has declared it saw its best ever quarter in the first three months of 2017.
The business, which develops software for managing workplace training, said it had been boosted by sales in the UK and its fast-growing markets in the Middle East and North America.
It declined to provide a value of sales but noted that the period had seen it release more than 60 product enhancements during the quarter. Those included integrations with SurveyMonkey and Xero, a cloud accounting platform.
The company’s progress during the quarter reflects its rapid growth in the Middle East and North Africa, where it launched an office in Beirut in the second half of 2016. Administrate’s clients in the region include accountancy giant PwC and Morgan International.
The company has also been expanding its headcount, bringing 10 engineers on board last year to take overall staff numbers to nearly 60. It launched its first overseas office in the US state of Montana early last year, having selected the location because North America was the fastest-growing market for its web-based training management system. However its growth in the Middle East and North Africa is now understood to be rivalling its progress in the US.
