A PICTURESQUE housing development in Fenwick been named the best in Scotland.
The spectacular Westpoint Homes - Laigh Meadows won Development of the Year, supported by Scotland’s Homes, at The Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2017.
The event, in association with SP Energy Networks saw more than 400 guests gather at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central Hotel last night. The event was hosted by comedian Des Clarke.
Big winners included Anderson Bell Christie, who picked up the award for Affordable Housing Development of the Year, Sponsored by SP Energy Networks.
Guy Jefferson, distribution director, Scotland at SP Energy Networks said, “The desire to support and promote the organisations and individuals in the property sector, the driving force behind these awards, is something which resonates with us.”
Avant Homes won the Property Team of the Year Award, sponsored by Space and Time Media, whose chairman Peter Jones, said: “Space & Time would like to congratulate Avant Homes. It’s truly testament to all their hard work and their team ethic.”
ARC Management won the Judges’ Outstanding Project of the Year Award for the spectacular Knock Old Castle.
Steven Sibbald, managing director of Lettingweb.com, said, “Our particular congratulations go to Clan Gordon for winning the Residential Letting Team of the Year category which we were proud to sponsor this year.”
Karen Durnian, managing director of Lowther Homes, part of Wheatley Group, said, “We’re proud to be part of The Herald Property Awards again this year and to help recognise and celebrate the very best examples of housebuilding and regeneration.”
