C&D Auction Marts Ltd sold 7 prime heifers in Dumfries on Wednesday to a top of 230p per kg and an average of 225p.
In the rough ring 25 beef cows sold to 151p and averaged 133p, while 23 dairy cows peaked at 130p and levelled at 113p.
There were also 488 prime lambs that sold to £114 per head and 266p per kg to average 235p (-15.2p on the week), while an end-of-season show of 34 prime hoggs peaked at £102.50 and 192p to level at 155p (-3p).
The 273 cast sheep forward saw heavy ewes sell to £138.50 for Texels and average £84, while light/export-type ewes peaked at £83.50 for Cheviots and Blackfaces to level at £49.
Messrs Craig Wilson Ltd sold 454 prime lambs in Newton Stewart on Wednesday to a top of £120 and 239.1p to average 225p (-25.2p), while 80 prime hoggs peaked at £99 and 215.2p to level at 159.1p.
The firm also sold 97 heavy cast ewes to a top of £124 for Texel crosses and an average of £83.73, while 33 light ewes peaked at £67 for Cheviots and levelled at £48.10. Thirty-five two-tooth hoggs sold to £98 and averaged £60.73.
