Tennent’s has moved to call time on its brewing partnership with Edinburgh craft beer firm Innis & Gunn.

The Scottish brewer has produced a range of beers and provided packaging services for Innis & Gunn at its Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow since 2014. But it said last night that the arrangement will be terminated with effect from September 2020.

The move comes after Tennent’s owner C&C Group said it could provide brewing facilities in Glasgow for European-based drinks firms after Brexit. Innis & Gunn, which owns Inveralmond Brewery, is setting up a brewing operation in Toronto.
