John Menzies has focused on the aviation support market
JOHN Menzies has said it is on track to meet expectations for the full year after selling its newspaper distribution business for £74.5m in September to focus on the aviation support market.
In an update on trading from July 1 to October 31, Edinburgh-based John Menzies said 2018 has been a commercially challenging year but noted it had won 34 net contracts around the world, generating £8 million of annualised revenue in the process.
Menzies said it had continued to demonstrate its ability to win business at rates directors believe to be sustainable in line with its focus on margin improvement.
