WOOD Group chief executive Robin Watson has been awarded shares worth around £290,000 in the oil services giant. Mr Watson exercised options to acquire 50,806 shares in the Aberdeen-based firm at nil cost on Wednesday. He was granted the options under Wood’s long term incentive and deferred bonus plans subject to performance targets. Mr Watson earned total remuneration of £1.2 million in 2016 including LTIP awards that vested during the year, his first in charge of the group. Wood shares closed at 566p yesterday.
