THE countdown is underway to this year’s awards for Scotland’s premier hair, beauty and aesthetics industry.

The Herald is delighted to continue to celebrate the wealth of talent in Scotland by hair, beauty and atheistic salons which are successfully growing the industry through creativity, training and innovative marketing campaigns.

The Herald Look Awards 2017, in association with High Definition and supported by Pure Spa & Beauty, City of Glasgow College, Fake Bake, Good Salon Guide, Skinade and Osmo, will culminate in a stylish awards ceremony, hosted by TV presenter, Jennifer Reoch on Sunday, May 14.

Held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow, the event will bring together Scotland’s most talented organisations.

This year, we were inundated with entries for the expert makeup artist of the year and one to watch categories.

Anna Pickford, marketing manager of High Definition, said The Look Awards 2017 promises to be an inspiring evening spotlighting the very best of Scotland’s hair and beauty.

Guests will leave with a jam-packed goodie bag, be treated to a champagne drinks receptions and receive complimentary treatments – plus a three course meal and after awards party.
