In the first of the semi-finals Mark and Dean had the opportunity to cook alongside 2012  joint Professional Masterchef champion Anton Piotrowski at the Michelin starred Treby Arms in Devon.

We learned Anton like to say the word “dude” and use a blowtorch excessively while the chefs made a scallop starter and a goat dish for the restaurant’s lunchtime service. But afterwards they had to recreate his signature dish, a pigeon wellington – with a sinister looking foot sticking out the top.
