Saturday Kitchen viewers are still unhappy with the choice of presenters who are attempting to fill James Martin’s shoes, judging by social media.

Former model turned celebrity chef Lorraine Pascale is the second person to step into the challenging role, following Michel Roux Jr, who took over on April 2.

The cook is best known for BBC Two series Baking Made Easy and Home Cooking Made Easy, but much of her BBC television work to date has been on pre-recorded shows.

The 43-year-old was joined by top chefs Michael Caines and Nathan Outlaw. TV vet Noel Fitzpatrick faced his food heaven or hell.

Lorraine thanked her supporters as she acknowledged how tough a gig Saturday Kitchen is on Twitter.

However, some viewers who posted on the social media site did not think much of her presenting style.
