Hollywood legend Sir Roger Moore will regale fans with tales from his extraordinary life during this special show in Aberdeen tonight.

4 Foodies Festival Christmas

6 Night at the Museum: Erskine 100

Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery, Glasgow, November 25 History lovers dreams will come true on Friday when the Hunterian opens its doors for one night only.

9 Glasgow Folk Exhibition

Govanhill Baths, Glasgow, November 25-26 Paying homage to the spirit of Glasgow, this historic exhibition promises to be a real treat.

Commissioned by Whyte & Mackay, this two-day event placing the city’s people at its heart, featuring 25 portraits taken by renowned Glaswegian photographer David Boni.

The images showcase Glasgow’s unique sense of style and includes images of a retired ballet dancer, dapper factory worker and an ex burlesque dancer.

Aberdeen will be full of Christmas spirit today as it launches its winter festival.

The popular festival is packed full of festive activities and events, including a Christmas Village, Christmas tree maze, Friends of Hazlehead Winter Wonderland, carol sing-alongs, the Christmas light switch-on and a visit from Santa.

There will also be markets, concerts, pantos, exhibitions and a Twelve Days of Christmas mini-trail featuring 12 unique themed totem poles created by local chainsaw wood carver Garry Shand.
