Monty Python’s musical reinterpretation of the legendary tale of King Arthur arrives in the granite city this week. Based on the iconic Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this musical extravaganza features witch burning, killer rabbits, cows and comedy songs, including He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights of the Round Table and Always Look on the Brigh Side of Life. It promises to be a “knight” to remember.

The art and culture of Greece will be celebrated at this creative festival in the Scottish capital. 5 Dunoon Connections Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie, today until March 9 Inspired by Dunoon, this art exhibition in Milngavie provides four different perspectives on the two-dimensional world. The exhibit features works from former Glasgow School of Art students Colm Docherty, Anoushka Havinden, Jenny Hunter and Sandi Kiehlmann. The quartet came together through their involvement with Dunoon Burgh Hall.

6 Dunfermline Comic Con The Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline, March 11
Comic book fans will be in geek heaven when Comic Con lands in Dunfermline on Saturday.

9 Scottish Cycling, Running and Outdoor Pursuits Show SECC, Glasgow, March 10-12
Cyclists will be gearing up for a weekend of races and challenges she. This show arrives in Glasgow on Friday. The show includes more than 100 exhibitors, live demonstrations, coaching and training advice and a bespoke childrens’ cycle area. Visitors will also be able to test their fitness on interactive attractions, including mini velodrome sprint trials, a bespoke mountain bike track and triathlon challenges.
