Taking place in the Botanic Gardens, the UK’s first outdoor animatronic dino-tour will feature 30 full-scale prehistoric creatures complete with teeth, swivelling eyes, swaying tails and spine-chilling sound effects.

Activities include an excavation site where youngsters are able to get hands on as they dig to unearth a T-rex fossil.

There is also immersive virtual reality headsets packed with digital dinosaur experiences and plenty of photo ops for those all-important toothy selfies with these bygone giants.

Jurassic Kingdom takes place at the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow from August 26 until September 10, open daily, from 10am to 6pm. Tickets start from £11.50 (adults), £9.50 (children) and £38 (family).
