JOSE MOURINHO has confirmed that Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay have played their last games for Manchester United - but they still won't make his FA Cup team.

Neither midfielder Schneiderlin nor winger Depay will be considered for the visit of Championship side Reading today because Mourinho is operating under the assumption that both will exit Old Trafford this month.

However, despite a suggestion Schneiderlin is on the verge of joining Everton, Mourinho insisted United are yet to receive a satisfactory offer for either player.

"Their situation is exactly the same, both of them I will allow to leave the club," Mourinho said.

"I will allow them to leave if the right offer comes. Until this moment, no. Is this a good situation? No. Why not? Because I don't think about them as options in this moment."

One man who will start for Mourinho is Wayne Rooney, who is chasing the 249th goal for United that he needs to draw level with Sir Bobby Charlton's club scoring record.
