Missing 68-year-old dementia sufferer from Newton Mearns found safe and well
A 68-year-old woman with dementia who had been reported missing from her home in Newton Mearns has been found safe and well.
Police had been concerned for the safety of Dorothy Hudson as she was last seen by relatives at her home in Lomond Drive, Newton Mearns, at around midday on Wednesday.
She had reportedly left the house and seen heading towards Patterton train station but Ms Hudson had not been seen since.
Her family became increasingly anxious and reported her missing to police.
A police helicopter had been used in initial searches for Ms Hudson.
