NATALIE McGarry, the Independent MP for Glasgow East, has revealed that she is pregnant following a collapse at Westminster.
An ambulance was called after she fell ill in the Commons tearooms after being taken ill during Prime Minister's Questions.
Shortly after the incident, Ms McGarry posted a message on her offical Twitter account saying: "Delighted to announce my husband & I are expecting a baby. I fainted earlier & I'd like to thank the medics who were called as precaution."

Ms McGarry had been under investigation by the police after a pro-independence group reported a potential financial discrepancy in its accounts. She has denied any wrongdoing.
It is not known if she intends to stand for the Glasgow seat in the snap June general election.
