CLINT Hill, the 38-year-old centre-half who has told by Pedro Caixinha he will not be having his contract at Rangers renewed this summer, last night expressed his disappointment he will be leaving Ibrox after picking up the Man of the Match award in the 2-1 win over Hearts.

"I'll be moving on unfortunately," he said. "It's been a great year. It's been hard on the pitch in terms of performances, but it's been brilliant for me to play at this club, to put the shirt on and play in front of the fans. It has been a big highlight of my career.

"Obviously, I am little bit disappointed because when you play for such a big club you want it to last as long as possible. But I have been in football long enough to know that when new managers come in they have different ideas and want different personnel.

"I am just trying to enjoy every minute. I will only take good memories away from this football club. Playing in front of 50,000 every other week is amazing. Even playing away is like playing at home. The fans have been fantastic as have the people at the club. It has been a great experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish the club all the best."
