The following quote from Green MSP John Finnie was wrongly attributed to Police Scotland Deputy Chief Constable Rose Fitzpatrick due to a production error: “With a single service the challenge will always be whether to have an outside force undertake criminal or misconduct investigations" (Police spy scandal: five officers facing misconduct probe, News, May 28, 2017).
We reported that Liberal Democrat candidate Christine Jardine moved to Edinburgh West over a year ago (Edinburgh West: a pretty setting for Scotland's most bitter election battle, News, May 28, 2017). In fact, she moved to a different constituency in the city.
The Sunday Herald is happy to make these corrections, and we apologise for any confusion.

It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
