GARY Mackay-Steven has completed his long-awaited move to Aberdeen.
And the now former Celtic man could even make his debut in Thursday's Europa League match against Siroki Brijeg because the deal was pushed through before Wednesday's 11pm deadline.
Mackay-Steven, who has agreed a two-year deal, has been long time target for Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes.
Thurso-born Mackay-Steven formerly played for Ross County, Liverpool, Airdrie United and Dundee United before joining Celtic in January 2015.
Mackay-Steven becomes Aberdeen's fifth signing of the summer so far. He will join fellow new boys Greg Tansey, Ryan Christie, Greg Stewart and Nicky Maynard in the dressing room.
Motherwell striker Louis Moult could become No6 next week if Aberdeen can meet the Fir Park club's fee of around £700,000.
And the Shaun Maloney deal is still alive despite the former Scotland talisman's fitness worries.
