Teenager dies in serious road crash near Dundee
An 18-year-old man has died following a serious one-car crash.
Police were alerted to the collision on the A923 Dundee to Coupar Angus road near Tullybaccart at around 2am on Saturday.
The man was taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital following the crash, where he later died.
The four other people in the car sustained minor injuries, officers said.
The road was closed for investigation work to be carried out, with local diversions in place.
