Finance team boosted at accountancy firm
HENDERSON Loggie has expanded its corporate finance team with the appointment of Jamie Beal as senior manager.
He joins the accountancy firm from William Duncan + Co. Prior to that he was at HW Corporate Finance.
Henderson Loggie said Mr Beal also brought operational experience to the role from his time as managing director of an industrial textiles business. He ultimately oversaw the sale of the business.
Rod Mathers, corporate finance partner at Henderson Loggie, said: “I am delighted that Jamie has now joined our team where he will combine strategic advice with sleeves-up support for our growing roster of clients. With his experience... and as an entrepreneur, he will be an asset to the firm.”
Mr Mather said Mr Beal would be contributing to the growth of the department, particularly in respect of mergers and acquisitions.
Edesix has its eye on expansion

Last year Edesix won a contract to supply the UK Prison Services. The firm is now looking to build on this success with the appointment of Mr Miller, who joins as business development manager where he will have responsibility for Edesix’s new VideoTag range of Incident Recorders.
He arrives with more than seventeen years’ experience at senior level within the software-as-a-service and video conferencing industries.
“I’m pleased to be joining Edesix at a time when the company is experiencing tremendous growth and success” he said. “Having spent the last few years at a video conferencing and asset management company within the UK, the prospect of leading the way in incident recorders is an exciting challenge, and one that my past experience lends itself to.”

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
