DAVID Harris has stepped down from his role as chief financial officer at Smart Metering Systems with immediate effect.
In a statement to the stock exchange, the Glasgow-based group said Mr Harris had resigned for health reasons.
He was appointed chief financial officer in March this year. David Thompson, the current group finance director, will assume the role of interim chief financial officer with immediate effect.
Willie MacDiarmid, chairman of Smart Metering Systems, thanked Mr Harris for his contribution, adding “He leaves with our best wishes for a speedy recovery.”
