Friends of a Glasgow man who was killed in Ibiza have set up a JustGiving page in his memory.
Kenny Macnicol, 21, died after he was struck by a vehicle in the tourist resort of San Antonio on Sunday.
Tributes have circulated social media for 'one in a million' Kenny as news of his death reached Glasgow.
Grieving friends have set up a JustGiving page to help his family with the 'sudden financial implications' they now face.
The official JustGiving page set up by friends
Pal Ross Campbell, who set up the page, wrote: "Making a just giving page to help support the family of Kenny Macnicol after he tragically passed away in Ibiza. The hole he has left in everyone's heart cannot be filled but the donations will ease pressure on the family with the sudden financial implications."
"He was a much loved son, brother and friend who cant be replaced. The appreciation for the overwhelming support for everyone hurting right now cannot be put into words but will never be forgotten. He was one in a million who was taken far too soon."
"Rest in peace Kenny, you will always be loved."
The page has received more than £4,000 in donation since it was made active.
Last night his sister blasted a 'fake' JustGiving page which she had asked Facebook users not to donate to or share.
She wrote: "This page is fake and nothing to do with friends or family. This person doesn't exist!"
"I am disgusting that someone would do this to my family! DO NOT DONATE TO THIS PAGE!!!!!!"
It is unclear if the page was set up as a genuine attempt to raise funds for the family.
It had received £155 in donations but has since be shut down.
