The road is closed until further notice
POLICE have been forced to close a scenic Highland road popular with tourists because of heavy rain.
Officers shut the A832 between Achnasheen and Gorstan on Friday night after a section of the road was washed away.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said:
"The weather has resulted in significant flooding o the road and a portion of the road being washed away.
"The public are requested to avoid the area."
