Glasgow pub has re-opened following a major £280,000 revamp.

The Boyd Roderick (previously known as The Burrell), only Pollokshaws Road, has been extensively renovated by pub company Punch.

The new look pub is being operated by Campbell Dickson and Calum Gillies of Caledonian Skye Ltd, which already runs a number of successful outlets including the Caledonian Café and the Portree Hotel on the Isle of Skye.

The new renovation has also created 20 new jobs.

He said: “We’re delighted with the results of this refurbishment, which has also included an extension to the kitchen. This means that as well as a stylish new look, The Boyd Roderick will be offering a range of freshly prepared Scottish produce alongside a selection of quality beers and wines.”

Sales and Recruitment Development Manager for Punch, Iain Thomson, said: “This is an exciting new start for The Boyd Roderick and we are delighted to be supporting the Caledonian Skye team with their ambitious plans for the pub.”
