HAMILTON Accies coach Guillaume Beuzelin has told compatriots Paris Saint-Germain that they should target Celtic pair Craig Gordon and Mikael Lustig in tonight’s Champions League clash.

The star-studded Ligue 1 side visit Parkhead this evening in the opening round of Group B fixtures after hitting the headlines over the summer by spending almost £370m on strikers Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

And Beuzelin, whose side were defeated 4-1 by the champions at New Douglas Park last Friday, spoke to French newspaper L’Equipe about potential chinks in the Hoops’ armour ahead of the clash.

Goalkeeper Gordon was the first focus of the former Hibernian midfielder’s criticism.

“He’s not very safe when he comes out,” Beuzelin said.

“On Friday, we scored our only goal from a set piece and, at the time, he badly anticipated the ball’s trajectory.

"And Gordon takes a lot of risks with the ball at his feet. Against St. Johnstone, he passed directly to the feet of an opposing attacker and conceded a goal.”

Another Celt to be identified as a weak point in Brendan Rodgers’ line-up was Sweden international Lustig, who Beuzelin expects to struggle against the fleet-footed Brazilian Neymar.

“He is very big and quite slow,” he explained.

“When he finds himself face to face with dribblers like Neymar, he risks being eliminated in one-on-ones.”
