CELTIC'S heavy defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League has seen them drop to 58th place in the UEFA club coefficient.

Brendan Rodgers' side suffered their heaviest ever loss in European competition against the might of the free-spending Ligue 1 giants, losing 5-0 on Tuesday.

The result sees the Hoops fall to number 58 in UEFA's club ranking, with AC Milan leapfrogging above the Scottish champions after their 5-1 Europa League win against Austria Vienna.

PSG remain in seventh place, three spots below their Group B rivals Bayern Munich in fourth.

Celtic's remaining group stage rivals Anderlecht have also stayed put in 32nd place despite their 3-0 defeat to the Bavarians.

Meanwhile, Scotland has dropped to number 25 in the association club coefficient, behind Azerbaijan, Belarus and Sweden.
