James Tavernier: Caused danger whenever he marauded forward, haring down the right to fire in a low centre then almost picking out Alfredo Morelos with a deep cross. Just about kept Scott Sinclair under wraps but hit side-netting with one shot. 6
Fabio Cardoso: With Griffiths gravitating towards Ross McCrorie, the Portuguese was generally the spare man at the back. Won his headers and generally covered well but hesitant in the lead-up to the opener 6
Ross McCrorie: Youth academy product handed dream debut due to the injury to Bruno Alves. Early one-on-one with Tom Rogic boosted his confidence, and would have been relieved to see Leigh Griffiths spurn a headed opportunity. Grew into a fine debut but could have cleared his lines for the first goal and couldn't live with Griffiths' movement for the second 6
Lee Hodson: Absence of Lee Wallace handed an opportunity to the Northern Ireland international. Roberts comprehensively outwitted him for a first-half shot then failed to clear for the opener 5
Daniel Candeias: Part of a pacy tandem that was a bulwark to Celtic's usual excellence down the left, he played Tavernier into a couple of decent positions and made quick breaks. Booked for a shocker on Keiran Tierney 6
Ryan Jack: Like the Scottish Cup final all over again as this boyhood Rangers fan snarled into tackles against Scott Brown, and attempted to get close to Stuart Armstrong. A fiery competitor who rose to the occasion 6
Graham Dorrans: A man Brendan Rodgers reputedly tried to sign back in his Reading days, the veteran midfielder tried to show poise in the maelstrom but his end product wasn't quite there. Took anger out in tackles on Moussa Dembele and Armstrong 5
Josh Windass: One of the best players on the pitch. Two instant additions to the Old Firm highlight reel - felling his manager Pedro Caixinha with a first minute sliding tackle, then producing the sweetest of nutmegs to leave Brown red-faced. Fired wide in the second period 7
Carlos Pena: Big call from Caixinha to play the Mexican ahead of Kenny Miller, but only a qualified success. Never in the match as an attacking threat and withdrawn for Miller as soon as the first goal went in 4
Alfredo Morelos: Pinpointed pre-match as a target for some Celtic skullduggery, the Colombian fought his corner against Jozo Simunovic but he couldn't beat the off-side line. Claimed a first-half penalty and saw a second-half header saved 6

Kenny Miller (for Pena 48): Gutted not to be starting and made immediate impact as the second striker led to a Morelos headed chance but couldn't turn the tide 4
Eduardo Herrera (for Windass 73): Another who struggled with the concept of off-side, but one flick from the big target man which played Morelos in for a chance late on suggested a more direct approach might have paid off 3
Aaron Nemane (for Candeias 84): Looked game and eager, taking on Tierney to produce one cross, but little chance to shine 3
