More board seats at craft brewer
FOLLOWING the recent investment by private equity group, L Catterton, craft brewer Innis & Gunn has strengthened its board with the appointments of Crawford Sinclair, Jean-Philippe Barade and Caroline Folleas.
Currently director of UK sales at the company, Mr Sinclair has almost 20 years’ experience in the beer industry and joined Innis & Gunn in 2010 to establish a new UK sales function. Under his leadership the UK market has grown to represent over half of Innis & Gunn global sales.
Innis & Gunn, led by Dougal Sharp, also confirmed the appointment of two new directors from L Catterton, Jean-Philippe Barade, who is a partner and head of the London office, and investment director, Caroline Folleas.
Tony Hunt, chairman of Innis & Gunn, said: “Jean-Philippe and Caroline bring to our board L Catterton’s enormous experience of successfully building consumer brands.”
Lockton reveals Aberdeen office
Insurance broker Lockton will open its Aberdeen office this month, with four new hires in place.
A lease on a new office suite in the city’s Westhill business district has been taken up by Lockton as a base to expand its Scottish presence as the company continues to grow its regional footprint.
Four more hires, account managers Moira Presley, Gillian McGruther, Alison Spink, all from Marsh, and Gordon Henderson, from AON, will join the Lockton team this month. All four will report to Steven Cox, who is head of office.
London-based Lockton already employs almost 50 insurance and risk management professionals in Scotland.
Gordon Duncan, head of corporate business in Scotland, said: “We welcome the impending arrival of our new colleagues and believe that they will readily demonstrate the highly-focused, customer-centric approach to business.”
Campos and Leckie join The ID Co
FINANCIAL technology company The ID Co. is aiming to strengthen its market position with the appointment of new chairman, Lazaro Campos, and chief technology officer, Scott Leckie.
The Edinburgh business, established in 2010, grew the volume of transactions it facilitated by by 15 per cent last year.
Mr Campos, formerly chief executive at SWIFT, joined The ID Co. in 2014 as a non-executive director. He is also co-founder of innovation ecosystem company FinTechStage.
Mr Leckie’s previous roles include CTO of FinTech provider HotDocs Corporation, where he was responsible for product strategy across the group.
