CELTIC have been handed a major boost ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League trip to play Bayern Munich with the news that injured trio Scott Brown, Stuart Armstrong and Jozo Simunovic will all be fit to play against the German champions.

The midfield duo, who withdrew from Scotland duty with hamstring and calf issues respectively, won’t be risked in the Ladbrokes Premiership meeting against Dundee, but both are back in full training and will be available again for the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The same applies to Simunovic, the club’s Croatian-born central defender, who was sent back from international duty with Bosnia-Herzegovina with a hamstring strain.

“Scott and Stuart will train on Friday and, although it’ll be too early for Dundee, they’ll most definitely be ready for Bayern Munich,” said Rodgers.

"Jozo is the same. It wasn’t a tear he had. It was just a slight aggravation and he needed to strengthen it and stay here. But it has all come together and he’ll be fine for Munich. You see the impact of him [Simunovic] and Boyata and what they give to the team when they play together, so that’s huge for us,” he added. “It’s a big month of big games and you want your best players available.”
