WITH several Celtic talents plying their trade away from Parkhead this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.
Scottish Premiership
Ryan Christie (Aberdeen)
The Dons fell further off Celtic’s pace at the top with a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home against the Hoops’ Betfred Cup final opponents Motherwell.
Christie did well to set up a chance for Adam Rooney in the first half before driving forward and firing a shot at Trevor Carson from 20 yards, but Louis Moult’s double ensured it was a forgettable afternoon for the Celtic man.

Scott Allan (Dundee)
Allan was given 13 minutes off the substitute’s bench as Dundee were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Kilmarnock.
The midfielder, who recently returned from injury, supplied a dangerous cross after coming on but no Dee players could connect before the hosts went down to 10 men for the last five minutes after former Celt Darren O’Dea picked up a second booking.
Jamie Lindsay (Ross County)
The young midfielder was forced to take the week off as his parent club visited the Highlands. Owen Coyle’s side fought bravely against the champions but eventually fell to defeat thanks to a superb free-kick from substitute Leigh Griffiths with 12 minutes to go.

Scottish Championship
Sam Wardrop (Dumbarton)
Wardrop played a full 90 minutes once again for Dumbarton as the Championship outfit battled past Elgin City with a 1-0 Scottish Cup win that set up a fourth round tie against Peterhead.
English League One
Nadir Ciftci (Plymouth Argyle)
Ciftci was again left out of the Plymouth squad as they fell to a 4-0 defeat at home to Oxford United, a result that leaves Argyle second bottom of League One.
