CLUB 1872 will vote in favour of a new share issue at the Rangers Annual General Meeting next week following a poll of members.

The Ibrox board are seeking permission to allocate shares without offering them to all investors as part of a move to convert a portion of the soft loans from the likes of Dave King and the Three Bears.

Club 1872 became the second largest Light Blues shareholder earlier this year after buying half of Mike Ashley’s stake.

And their 10.71 per cent will be used to back all eleven Resolutions on the agenda at the AGM in Glasgow.

Chairman King received 93 per cent backing from members, while Douglas Park, John Bennett got 95 per cent and Alasdair Johnston 96 per cent.

Paul Murray earned 90 per cent of the vote, but Graeme Park polled lowest of the Ibrox board with 85 per cent.
