A WOMAN appeared to have a lucky escape after walking away when a bus struck her in Glasgow City Centre.

The woman was crossing the road at Ingram Street when she was struck by a bus.

It is understood she got up and walked away before the police arrived.

One passenger on the bus, however, had to be taken to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary to be checked over.

Police Scotland added no-one was seriously injured.

The incident happened at 9.35am on Tuesday.

Police Scotland also had to divert traffic while emergency services were at the scene. Ingram Street was closed Eastbound from Queen Street to Hanover Street.
