DETECTIVES investigating a robbery have released CCTV images of people they wish to speak to.

The force said that two men were walking along the footpath at the Broomielaw near to the Tradeston Footbridge when they were assaulted and had personal items stolen from them.

The incident happened at around 8.45pm on Sunday, May 27.

Officers believe that the men shown in the images may have information that can assist them with their enquiries and would ask any members of the public who recognise him to contact them.

The men are believed to be Eastern European. One is aged 15 to 20 years, of slim build, 5ft 6 inches in height and he had short black hair. He was wearing a black hooded top, dark denims and black trainers.

The second man is aged 25 to 30 years, of medium build, 5ft 10 inches in height. He was wearing a red skip hat, khaki green t-shirt, black hooded body warmer, black Adidas jogging bottoms with white stripes and burgundy Adidas trainers with white stripes.

The third man is aged 25 to 30 years, of medium build, short black hair and is 5ft 9 inches in height. He was wearing a black tracksuit, red hooded jacket and black trainers.

The fourth man is aged 25 to 30 years, of medium build, short black hair, 5ft 9 inches in height. He was wearing a white and brown t-shirt, white denim jacket, white jeans and black converse with white toe and sole.

The fifth man is aged 25 to 30 years, of medium build, short black hair, 5ft 10 inches in height. He was wearing a black tracksuit, red hooded jacket and black trainers.
