The country’s premier boat show gets underway today.

Thousands of people are expected to attend Scotland’s Boat Show across the weekend at Kip Marina in Inverclyde to view everything from dinghies to powerboats.

The event has attracted the biggest and best names in the business for the exhibitions.

Storm Callum has brought some changes to the early schedule, but RYA water sessions are planned to go ahead on Saturday and Sunday.

Today sees a 10am start with talks and viewings for latest equipment and trends, ask the expert sessions, live cookery demonstrations and more.

On land, the Shore Display area will also allow visitors to look at everything from Powerboats to Porsches.

The weekend, partnered by The Herald, will also feature a fashion show, boat sales, safety demonstrations, competitions and activities for kids.
