A SEX attacker pounced on a terrified teenager in the street and told her: “You are beautiful. I need to do this”.

Temesgen Teame tailed the 18-year-old student and forced her into St Vincent Lane in Glasgow city centre.

Staff at nearby Stereo pub heard her desperate cries for help as Teame lay on top of the teenager.

The pub workers sprinted after the 23-year-old, who had tried to escape.

But, they managed to pin Teame to the ground and hold him before police arrived.

He now faces a lengthy jail-term after he today pled guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to the abduction and attempted rape of the girl.

The court heard the victim had been on a night out with friends in July this year.

CCTV clocked her standing outside the Bloc bar in the city's Bath Street in the early hours.

Teame was “loitering” near her although she did not notice him.

Despite trying to get away, the sex attacker yanked her into nearby St Vincent Lane.

The girl pleaded “no”, but was shoved to the ground as Teame began molesting her.

Prosecutor Martin Richardson said: “She screamed and shouted for help. She tried talking to him saying that he did not need to do this.

“She was crying and begging him to stop. Teame said: ‘You are too beautiful. I really need to do this'.”

He tried to unzip her trousers while the girl continued to struggle, telling her he wanted to "f*** her".

Teame then threatened the pub workers who saved her saying: “I will f****** remember your faces and I will get you.”

The court heard Teame was originally from Eritrea in Africa. He had been in Scotland since 2015.

Teame was remanded in custody pending sentencing in the New Year.
