Man held over 'taxi rank assault' in Falkirk
A man has been arrested following an alleged assault at a taxi rank.
A 34-year-old man was found with a serious head injury following an alleged disturbance on Newmarket Street, Falkirk at around 3.15am on Monday, April 17.
He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, then transferred to the Western General in Edinburgh where he is being treated.
Police said that a 33-year-old man has been arrested.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
