Irvine Welsh: Filming of Trainspotting sequel will start in May
The long-awaited sequel to Trainsportting will begin shooting in May.
Irive Welsh has revealed the timetable for the sequel based on his novel Porno.
It is set 10 years after Trainspotting and has the porn idustry as a back drop.
It will star Trainspotting originals Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Ewan Bremner.

Welsh, 57, told US podcast Beaks and Geeks: “We have all the team up now and are opening an office in March. We start shooting on May 16.
“I have been helping out as executive producer. I have been hooking them up with people locally, but they have also cast me again in the film, so I’m reprising my role as Mikey Forrester, the drug dealer.”
