RAIL commuters on one of Scotland’s busiest routes are facing disruption to services throughout Wednesday morning.
A signalling fault is affecting services between Glasgow and Edinburgh with disruption expected to last until noon.
The signalling fault has been caused by flooding at Linlithgow, causing delays to the main route between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley.

ScotRail made the announcement around 7.30am, just as the busy commuter route was entering rush hour, with the fault primarily causing problems on the track between Edinburgh and Falkirk High.

ScotRail’s website advises commuters to consider using the alternative Queen Street to Waverley via Bathgate route, which has not been affected.
